With the CF conference now over; some exploring is now in order. Best to "get smart" one might say; what better place than the city of Oxford. The famous town for smarts is very nice in that it was not heavily damaged during WWII. As such, many of the great architectural treasures remain. St Marys church, built about 1205, is the anchor of the town. For a small fee (nothing is free here) you may climb the tower. The "university" is not really such in that it is made up of a collection of individual "colleges" that for the whole of a system.
Lunch was, of course, meat pies with minty peas, mash and gravy. The perfect treat to introduce the Fall foods we are about to enjoy. Today, it's off to Wales for some countryside and castle snooping. Cheers!
